Liberal Media Films, an affiliate of Dallas-based charlieuniformtango, recently completed a spot for the University of Texas.
“charlieuniformtango may be owned by an A&M graduate, but it doesn’t mean we don’t want to send love to our friends at UT and the exciting new Longhorn Network Venture with ESPN,” says Director Jeremy Bartel.
Bartel was given the unique opportunity of working with a team of advertising students to create 4 new commercials for The ESPN Longhorn Network. The graduate students, culled from a group of over a hundred applicants, were energizing to work with.
“The enthusiasm the students had for the work, and their eagerness to be a part of the process made the entire shoot one of the most fun I have directed,” said Bartel. The end result is 4 great spots that introduce the nation to a new network focused on UT athletics, but set a reverent andhumorous tone towards UT sports and their fans.
The spots were shot on Red Epic, by Jeremy Bartel and Jason Burks. Edited by Justin Wilson out of charlieuniformtango Austin, and finished and colored by Dave Laird. Matt Ludwick provided audio mix.
