‘Underemployed’ shooting in Chicago in April

The MTV series “Underemployed” is set to shoot in Chicago from 11 episodes this April.
The pilot for the series shot in the city last year and was picked up by the network for a regular series run. There was uncertainty as to where the series would shoot, but MTV confirmed it for Chicago earlier this month.
Paskal Rudnicke Casting will be heading up Chicago casting for the series. Emmy-nominated executive producer Craig Wright (“Brothers & Sisters”) has some ties to Chicago, particularly the acclaimed A Red Orchid Theatre, which presented the world premiere of Wright’s “Mistakes Were Made,” starring Oscar nominee and ensemble member Michael Shannon.
