New work launches today for GEICO from The Martin Agency. The premise of the campaign: Folks that save money on their car insurance sure are happy. But how happy?
Happier than Gallagher in a farmer’s market.
Happier than Christopher Columbus with speedboats.
Happier than a Slinky on an escalator.
The campaign answers, "How happy are they?" via singing duo Jimmy and Ronny and scenarios that show people who are over-the-top-happy due to where they are or what they are experiencing.
The campaign launches tonight with the spot “Farmer’s Market,” featuring comedy legend Gallagher. And later that evening, he is slated to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman.
More spots will roll out in the coming months, as this storyline joins the Gecko Journey campaign and several others concurrently running for GEICO.
