Radar Studios, Masseur Part Ways

Radar Studios and long-time Executive Producer Lisa Masseur parted ways last week with the Chicago-based studio now looking for a new Executive Producer/Head of Sales and Masseur off to form her own new company.
Both Radar Founder Don Hoeg and Masseur had great things to say about each other.
“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Lisa,” Hoeg says. “As she builds a new production company, hopefully we’ll be working together on everything from VFX to post.”
Masseur this week called her new company a “production and creative venture” that’s named AlligatorZebra.

“I’ve really enjoyed working at Radar and seeing the company grow over the past seven and a half years,” she says. “I hope to keep working with them in the future.”
Earlier this year, the studio threw a big party celebrating “Radar Revamped” and there announced a major expansion of their visual effects capabilities along with the addition of several new directors. Graham Gangi, also an executive producer at Radar who focused on post will be stepping up to manage the day-to-day operation at the studio until a new executive producer is selected.
“We are successful because of the talented people we’ve brought in,” Hoeg says. “We want to make sure the next person that comes in is the right fit.”
“Radar seizes change as an opportunity to make the company even better and push the company even further,” Hoeg continued. “Part of the vibe of our company, is that we’re really enjoying this as a career – this is a fun business, we have mutual respect, everyone works as a team.”
