Five Questions With SCREEN: Earhole's Adam Wiebe
August 7, 2013 by Screenmag
In today's installment of Five Questions with SCREEN, Earhole's Adam Wiebe answers five questions.
SCREEN: What's your most-played iPod track?
WIEBE: This month it’s a tie between “Too Fake” by Hockey and “Smooth Sailing” by Queens of the Stone Age…but “Flagpole Sitta” by Harvey Danger is always roaming around behind the scenes.
SCREEN: What's your favorite drink, alcoholic or otherwise?
WIEBE: It’s tough to beat out a really well made Old Fashioned (I’m looking at you, Charleston!). I’m also a big fan of ‘Scum’. It’s one part Scotch and one part Rum, you should try it sometime! (Note: Do not try this drink)
SCREEN: What's the last movie you saw in a theater?
WIEBE: Last full movie? I think it was Zero Dark Thirty. I tried to go see This Is The End a couple weeks back. It was sold out, and after a failed attempt to sneak in, I watched about 5 minutes of The Lone Ranger before I left the theater in shame.
SCREEN: What's your favorite gadget?
WIEBE: Definitely my record player, hands down. I love setting down a needle and letting the music take over. It’s amazing how much more you can hear when you’re only focused on listening and not worried about what song is playing next.
SCREEN: What's your favorite American city? Foreign city?
WIEBE: Favorite American city is a tie between Chicago and Madison. My favorite foreign city is Austin. (Texas a foreign country, right?)
SCREEN: Describe your perfect Sunday.
WIEBE: You make these hard don’t you! I’m going to have to break this up into 2 scenarios: • Football season: Wake up early, make some sweet potato hash (with Bloody Marys of course), finalize the fantasy football lineup, and get the command center going with Packers coverage and NFL Red Zone. All are welcome! • Non-Football season: Sleep, eat, sleep
