BE GOOD director Todd Looby
February 1, 2013 by Mike McNamara
This one’s 100% Chicago. Born and raised on the South Side, Todd Looby has been enjoying more than his fair share of success on the festival circuit these days. Looby will follow up the World Premiere of his short film LOLLYWOOD at Slamdance last month with the Chicago Premiere of said film alongside the Festival Premiere of his new feature BE GOOD at the Midwest Independent Film Festival next Tuesday. SCREEN’s Mike McNamara (who also runs the Midwest Indie) had a quick chat with Todd to chat about BE GOOD, his talented leads Thomas Madden and Amy Siemetz, how his newborn baby wound up in the film and Todd’s brand of what he calls ‘white knuckle filmmaking.”
