ABC Pilot Lands In Chicago

THE BEST BETRAYAL: Patty Jenkins, best known for directing the Oscar-winning Charlize Theron tour-de-force MONSTER, is heading to Chicago to helm the ABC pilot thriller BETRAYAL. Producer and Ohio native Tim Iacafano, best known for his work on the Fox all-timer 24, is opening production offices this week. Jenkins’ most recent TV endeavor was the AMC mystery drama THE KILLING, which earned her a DGA Award and Emmy nomination.

YOUR TABLE IS READY: Jack C. Newell is currently in production on his next feature OPEN TABLES. Newell has snagged talented Chicago-LA actress Beth Lacke for his lead role of Hannah. OPEN TABLES follows Hannah on her trials and tribulations as she makes her way through romantic and less-than-romantic interludes. This comedy is Jack’s follow up to his improv indie CLOSE QUARTERS, which starred David Pasquesi, T.J. Jagadowski and Susan Messing. Check out some of Jack’s short film work and more over at http://www.jackcnewell.com.

TWO’S COMPANY: When embarking on a journey of revenge, dig two graves. So it goes with the new feature from directed and co-written by Hunter Adams, entitled DIG TWO GRAVES, which just wrapped filming in Southern Illinois this past weekend. Producer PJ Fishwick is joined by line producer Claire Connelly and associate producers Philip S. Plowden and Jon Parker. Cast includes Chicago talents Danny Goldring and Ann Sonneville and 14-year-old newcomer Sami Isler.
