Harpoon Pictures Signs Charlie Cole, Charcoal Films

Charcoal Films has formed an alliance with Production Company Harpoon Pictures, led by Executive Producer Chester Mayer. Consisting of Director/Cameraman Charlie Cole and his Executive Producer Neil Hallenborg, Charcoal Films joins Harpoon’s diversified roster of talent spanning several categories of commercial, film, television, and content production. Cole is best known for his emotional storytelling driven by dialogue and strong, natural visuals. The esteemed director has created revered advertising campaigns for S.C. Johnson, Publix, Aflac Insurance, Coca Cola, Toyota, Church’s Chicken and State Farm.

Through the affiliation, the company anticipates garnering opportunities to expand the company’s breadth of work. The collaboration also aims at positioning Cole to leverage advertising for brands within markets and agencies that significantly embrace creativity that tells genuine stories, elicits emotion and promotes a freedom that brings unrehearsed, un-staged moments.
