Five Questions With SCREEN: Craig Duncan, Executive Producer, Cutters Studios
May 29, 2013 by Screenmag
Today, Craig Duncan, the executive producer at Cutters Studios, sits down to answer five tough questions from SCREEN.
SCREEN: Can you cook? If so, what is your go-to dish?
DUNCAN: I'm more of a heater than a cooker. Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup would be my last meal on death row. If it comes to that.
SCREEN: What's your guilty pleasure TV?
DUNCAN: Smash...I grew up in the theater so I keep rooting for it to get better. It's so bad. It's like a trainwreck...but I keep watching.
SCREEN: Describe your perfect Sunday.
DUNCAN: 18 holes of golf at the crack of dawn, New York Times, CBS Sunday Morning, bike up to Oak Park with my family, see a movie at Lake Theater, browse around Book Table, dinner at Poor Phil's, home in time for 60 Minutes, read a book as I fall asleep. Pretty lame I know.
SCREEN: What's the last movie you saw in a theater?
DUNCAN: The last movie I saw was "42". I really enjoyed it. The last theater I went to was Book of Mormon. Freaking brilliant!
SCREEN: What's your favorite American city? Foreign city?
DUNCAN: American: A three way tie between Detroit, Chicago and New York. All for very different reasons. Foreign: Stratford, Ontario
SCREEN: What are you listening to?
DUNCAN: Lots of movie music... The Artist and Midnight in Paris are topping my playlist at the moment. Die-hard Springsteen fan.
