Good News for CRISIS?
April 18, 2014 by Mike McNamara
With rumors swirling about the show's possible cancelation, some very positive ratings news surfaced this past week. Considering that the show was up against the season premiere for a little show called MAD MEN, the fact that CRISIS posted a positive night is pretty impressive.
According to a press note this past week, CRISIS earned a 1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew 10% week to week (to a 1.1 from a 1.0 in adults 18-49), moving “Crisis” within 0.4 of a rating point and 1 share of the slot lead among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 (1.1/3 vs. 1.5/4 for CBS’s #1 “Mentalist”). The prior week’s “Crisis” grew by 62% or 0.63 of a rating point in 18-49 (to a 1.64 from a 1.01) and by 1.9 million viewers overall (6.4 million vs. 4.5 million).
Perhaps CRISIS is beginning to pick up a little momentum here. You can support this Chicago-made show by tuning in Sundays at 9 pm Central on NBC and be sure to check out past episodes and more right here.
