In the latest installment of our regular running feature, Sarah Slevin Wien, Senior Producer for ONE at Optimus, answers Five Questions With SCREEN.
SCREEN: What's your favorite Chicago street festival?
SLEVIN WIEN: The Pride Parade! Most of the other street festivals blend together in my mind into one big dirty street fest. I love the energy of the pride parade & what it stands for.
SCREEN: Can you cook? If so, what is your go-to dish?
SLEVIN WIEN: I can cook, but I don't enjoy cooking. That said, my go-to dish of the moment is a bowl of Ramen.
SCREEN: Describe your perfect Sunday.
SLEVIN WIEN: My perfect Sunday is spent traveling back home to Chicago after a weekend away. I love to travel. I love the feeling of getting in a cab at O'Hare after an adventure away, exhausted from the trip, and excited to be home to sleep in my own bed & get back to work.
SCREEN: What's your favorite American city to visit? Foreign city?
SLEVIN WIEN: My favorite American City to visit is NYC. The adrenaline & inspiration there is completely infectious. My favorite foreign city to visit is probably Rome. Amazing art, history, fashion, culture, & food in one place.
SCREEN: What's your favorite gadget?
SLEVIN WIEN: Sony Sports Walkman. It's portable! It's indestructible! And it's yellow!
SCREEN: What's your favorite day of the week?
SLEVIN WIEN: Thursday. They named it Thirsty Thursday for a reason. Summer Thursdays in Chicago are the best.
