CHICAGO FIRE Star's Next Project...

While CHICAGO FIRE is enjoying a spring break before getting back to work on season three, one of their stars is staying right in front of the camera in Chicago. Charlie Barnett, better known as Peter Mills on the NBC hit show CHICAGO FIRE, will be starring in and executive producing the short film IT'S NOT AS IF... (WOMEN FALL FROM THE SKY). The project is set to shoot this June... wanna be an executive producer on the film? Here's the scoop...

In IT'S NOT AS IF... (WOMEN FALL FROM THE SKY), a neurotic, self conscious author finds himself on a surreal elevator ride in which he is forced to relive his romantic misadventures with his best friend and a group of perfect strangers.

Barnett's cast includes Chicago talents Maura Kidwell (SIRENS, BOSS), Tim Stoltenberg (Second City, SIRENS) and Katherine Cunningham (JUPITER ASCENDING, SHAMELESS... and CHICAGO FIRE). Curtis Anthony Williams will direct this screenplay he co-wrote with Kathleen Foshee. Rounding out the team is producer Daniele Bernstein, who also heads up publicity for CHICAGO FIRE and CHICAGO PD.

So how do you get to be an executive producer on this film? IT'S NOT AS IF has launched its Kickstarter program and several of the contribution levels include producer and even executive producer credits. So there you go.
