Jeff Drooger Answers Five Questions
October 21, 2014 by Screenmag
In the latest installment of our regular running feature, Jeff Drooger, VP Executive Producer at Energy BBDO answers Five Questions With SCREEN.
SCREEN: What's your most-played iPod track?
DROOGER: Tom Petty on CD. I used to say vinyl but it made me sound old. Now I’m not hip enough for vinyl. Weird huh?
SCREEN: What's your guilty pleasure TV?
DROOGER: My DVR is chock full of TV commercials from the last three decades. I like to have people over to watch a movie, and then 10 minutes in, start the commercial reel. The reactions are hilarious, although not always good.
SCREEN: What's your favorite drink, alcoholic or otherwise?
DROOGER: I make a pretty mean fresh ginger syrup. Mix with seltzer and a lime and somedays it takes away the desire for a nice Pinot from Willamette Valley. But only some days.
SCREEN: If you could redesign the American Flag, what would you do?
DROOGER: I’d get a bunch of American artists: welders, silversmiths, wood workers, etc. together and have them make one together. More of a sculpture, really. Just one though, because it would be really expensive. On second thought, I probably wouldn’t take that job. Can you imagine having the US Government for a client?
SCREEN: Who are you missing right now?
DROOGER: My dog, Almost, our cat, Max, my Dad and my Mom. Yeah, you could say it’s been a tough year.
SCREEN: Best Halloween Costume ever?
DROOGER: I’d have to say my 2013, office winning version of Poison front man, Brett Michaels. You did mean my best, right?
