Two-Time Academy Award Nominee Bill Plympton
April 10, 2015 by Mike McNamara
One of the great animators of our time, two-time Academy Award Nominee Bill Plympton, met up with SCREEN's Mike McNamara for this week's Filmmaker Focus. Bill explains why he feels his latest feature CHEATIN' could contend for an Oscar, why some festivals are "afraid of animated features"... and why he's the "Jerry Lewis of animation in France."
Variety calls CHEATIN' "one of Bill Plympton's best... an energetic romp." Bill will be following up the world premiere of his feature CHEATIN' at Slamdance with its Chicago Premiere this weekend at the Siskel Film Center. Click here for showtimes and tickets!
