John Noble Answers Five Questions
January 13, 2015 by Screenmag
In the latest installment of our regular running feature, John Noble, EP/Partner at Traveling Picture Show Company, answers Five Questions With SCREEN.
SCREEN: Can you cook? If so, what is your go-to dish?
NOBLE: Anything beyond seven ingredients and I’m dead. However, I’m a pretty good short order cook and I make a mean Superbowl Chili. The secret ingredient is cinnamon.
SCREEN: What's your most-played iPod track?
NOBLE: It’s usually something from Bruce, but right now I’m going back into the rock catalogue. Listening to the Verve Urban Hymns. Probably "Lucky Man” from the Verve is the song I have on most currently.
SCREEN: What's your guilty pleasure TV?
NOBLE: Boy, has the landscape for TV viewing changed or what? Ashamedly, I hardly go to the movies anymore, given all the quality content. My Guilty Pleasure? Hands down is DOWNTON ABBEY.
SCREEN: Describe your perfect Sunday.
NOBLE: I’ve backed off the organized sports and leagues (softball and basketball) probably because the young guys are so good now. I really like to hike and bike and escape for a few hours. Alone time to recharge is good for me.
SCREEN: What's your favorite place to spend: a weekend? a week? two weeks?
NOBLE: An amazing resort called Golden Eye. It was Ian Flemming's private Jamaican estate where he wrote many of the James Bond books and it is now a resort. I’ve only been once, but we are saving up to go again.
