Sam Macon Answers Five Questions
January 28, 2015 by Screenmag
In the latest installment of our regular running feature, Sam Macon, a director with Radar Studios answers Five Questions With SCREEN.
SCREEN: What's your favorite day of the week? Why?
MACON: For me, any day of the week has equal potential to feel like a Monday or a Sunday. Crushed by work, or little to do. I prefer the crushed by work feeling.
SCREEN: Can you cook? If so, what's your go-to dish?
MACON: I love cooking. It's one of the few activities that I truly find relaxing. I only really cook when I have or make the time to do so, so I usually go all out. One of my go-tos would probably be a herb and lemon roasted chicken and a classic bib lettuce salad.
SCREEN: What's your most-played iPod track?
MACON: Right now? Shit, this is pretentious. Probably Philip Glass' Akhnaten Prelude. Second would have to be the whole album from this stoner metal band called Fuzz.
SCREEN: Describe your perfect Sunday?
MACON: Watching the Green Bay Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship. Sadly, that day never came.
SCREEN: What's your favorite place to spend a week? A weekend? Two weeks?
MACON: Hard to beat Paris, but I am a fan of hanging out in small towns in the middle of nowhere. Preferably in Northern Wisconsin, the Olympic Peninsula, or Big Sur.
SCREEN: What's your favorite gadget?
MACON: My grandfather's Leica III. But these days I use my Google Glass way more often
