Steven Anderson Answers Five Questions
July 16, 2015 by Screenmag
In the latest installment of our regular running feature, Steven Anderson, executive producer for Sarofsky, answers Five Questions With SCREEN.
SCREEN: What's your favorite day of the week? Why?
ANDERSON: I actually really like Sunday. I try and keep my Sundays free. No set schedule. No chores. I try and keep it a “Steven” day whenever possible. Our lives are so regulated and full that having a dedicated play day is really important to my well-being.
SCREEN: Can you cook? If so, what's your go-to dish?
ANDERSON: Anyone who knows me well knows I love to cook. Growing up in an Italian family, pasta is usually my go-to dish. I just perfected making Orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe; super delish.
SCREEN: What's your most-played iPod track?
ANDERSON: I love my music, I have nearly 20,000 songs in my iTunes library. But after a conversation with some friends a few weeks ago, we were talking about how no one listens to a “whole album” anymore. I grew up on vinyl. So I started doing that and have become re-infatuated with Amplified Heart by Everything but the Girl.
SCREEN: What's your guilty pleasure TV?
ANDERSON: Easy: Jeopardy. I DVR it. And yeah, I’m okay with having that in writing. And on that note, we may be working on a project with an agency here in town that involves Jeopardy (kinda rocked my world when I got that email).
SCREEN: What's the last movie you saw in a theater?
ANDERSON: That’s easy, Ant-Man. I've seen it three times so far and it will be four after July 20. First in the theater on the Disney lot, second in an edit suite (again at Disney), third at the cast and crew screening at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood and fourth, our Sarofsky company screening at Webster Place. It’s probably the most times I have ever seen one movie. Paul Rudd, pay attention.
SCREEN: What's your favorite gadget?
ANDERSON: It’s a tie between my bike (I love long distance cycling) and my Omega Juicer.
