Tereasa Surratt Answers Five Questions
March 18, 2015 by Screenmag
In the latest installment of our regular running feature, Tereasa Surratt, partner/creative director at Ogilvy in Chicago, answers Five Questions With SCREEN.
SCREEN: What's your favorite day of the week?
SURRATT: Sunday. You can get so much done without your phone ringing and still have time to veg. My perfect Sunday: 4:30 AM: make a pot of coffee and fire in the lodge. Curl up with Frankie (our mutt) on the couch and work on whatever project I'm obsessed with at the time until the rest of the house wakes up.
SCREEN: Do you cook? If so, what's your go-to dish?
SURRATT: I manage to screw up just trying to boil an egg, so my go-to dish is anything on the Longman & Eagle menu.
SCREEN: What's your most-played iPod track?
SURRATT: Sam Smith "Stay With Me" and Hank Williams "Jambalaya."
SCREEN: What's your guilty pleasure TV?
SURRATT: ANTIQUES ROADSHOW. It helps me justify my uncontrollable hoarding tendencies at flea markets.
SCREEN: What's your favorite gadget?
SURRATT: A vintage Yamaha snowmobile we just picked up.
SCREEN: What's your favorite American city? Foreign City?
SURRATT: NYC for culture. Beardstown, Ill. (population 5,000) for family. Foreign: Vienna, Austria. They have the best, oldest outdoor antique market in the world.
Editor's Note: Surratt has big plans for 2015, including the launch of a new book with Crown/Random House, shooting the Gant Wandawega product line launch in London, launch of a new custom motorcycle, and hosting a series of creative camps covering the Soho House to Facebook, Instagram, Studio Gang and more. And she also hopes to get a manicure.
