In the latest installment of our regular running feature, Dave Dakich, Director of Business Development at Chicago Recording Company, answers Five Questions with SCREEN.
SCREEN: Can you cook? If so, what's your go-to dish?
DAKICH: I can’t really cook, but I love tossing a match on my trusty Weber, and grilling salmon is a big fav.
SCREEN: What's your guilty pleasure TV?
DAKICH: Watching old episodes of COLUMBO with my son. It’s a history lesson for him.
SCREEN: What's the last movie you saw in a theater?
DAKICH: The new Brian Wilson/Beach Boys biopic LOVE & MERCY. It's a really unique twist on telling his story. We had John Cusack in to do the ADR on the film, and it was great to see it finished on the big screen.
SCREEN: What's your favorite place to spend a week? A weekend? Two weeks?
DAKICH: Beaver Island, MI. Largest island on Lake Michigan, and for the most part, very pristine. So close, yet so far away.
SCREEN: What's your favorite American city? Foreign city?
DAKICH: Besides Chicago in the summer, I would have to say Paris is the place for me. It's a great combination of modern city vibe, with old world charm.
SCREEN: Best Halloween costume ever?
DAKICH: When I was 8 I was Batman for the whole year.
