ARU Mourns Loss Of Colleague

Chicago-based ARU has lost an individual they describe as a "cherished friend and colleague."
Ana De Irisarri, who worked at the audio house as a bilingual sound designer, passed away December 14. A native of Bogotá, Columbia, De Irisarri first joined ARU as an intern in early 2015, eventually becoming part of the staff full time.
"She was special," ARU staff wrote in a statement. "In the 18 months that she was with us, Ana filled our lives with smiles and warmth and a zest for life. She will be sorely missed."
In addition to her work, De Irisarri was also a musician and DJ who spent many hours appearing at local clubs. Her most recent deep house EP "Intuituion" was released in November. She is survived by her parents and her sister, Laura.
