Kinnear, Roberts Head to Minnesota for Feature
June 9, 2016 by Mike McNamara
Greg Kinnear and Emma Roberts (niece of Julia, daughter of Eric, co-star of AMERICAN HORROR STORY among other hits) are heading to Minnesota this month to join the cast of SPINNING MAN, the psychological thriller starring GAME OF THRONES's Nikolaj Coster-Waldau that will mark the American debut of Danish filmmaker Peter Flinth.
The production, scheduled to begin filming in Minnesota this month, will star Coster-Waldau as a philosophy professor who becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance of a high school cheerleader. Kinnear will play the detective assigned to the investigation, while Roberts will play the professor’s star student.
Minnesota native Keith Arnold, who is producing the film, may have been the key factor in bringing the production to the state. "Making this movie in Minnesota is a dream come true,” says Arnold via press statement. “We have the highest hopes for this film and using my hometown as a backdrop is surreal.”
As this film forges through production... as always, I'll keep you posted!
