AICP Next Awards come to Chicago Tomorrow

The AICP Next Awards screening, which is an extension of the AICP Show will screen in Chicago at the AMC 600 N. Michigan tomorrow, November 3rd.

The Next Awards were created to honor the creative work for clients which finds ways to reach consumers through alternate means rather than through traditional advertising.

After a screening of the awards show, a panel discussion featuring the creative teams from two of this year’s winning projects from Leo Burnett will be held.

Representing the Art Institute Van Gogh BnB in the Experiential category are ACD’s John Regan and Tor Lemhag. This experience captured the attention of both the national and local press.

And for Chicago Ideas: Music vs. Gun Violence in the Cause Marketing category From Leo Burnett are: Rene Delgado, ACD; Chris Clark, Director of Music; Juan Woodbury, EP. In this piece, Leo Burnett partnered with rapper Common.

This year’s awards include three new categories: Experiential Architecture, Innovation, Virtual Reality as well as categories from years past; Integrated Campaign, Viral/Web Film, Website/Microsite, Product Integration, Experiential, Mobile, Social, and Cause Marketing. The Next Award Winners become part of the archive at the Department of Film at The museum of Modern art in NYC.
