Potenza Productions is currently working on two projects. EMERGENCE is a fun mixed format passion project from director Rocco Cataldo. This is a non-narrative interpretive dance film shot on 35mm and HD in an alleyway in Ravenswood. The project just finished post with Beast-Method-Company 3, with Arriflex camera support from Schumacher Camera and the Panasonic Varicam 35 from Daufenbach Camera. They're planning to submit the three-minute piece to festivals.
They are also shooting a promo piece with the Boka Restaurant Group tomorrow for Izakaya Lounge at Momotaro. Directed by Rocco Cataldo, there will be several mini-spots along with one master spot showcasing the lounge.
STORY has two directors working outside of the city. Director Rich Michell shot one spot last week in Minneapolis for United Heath Care. Their Director Blair Hayes shot a five-spot package all last week in Los Angeles for McDonald's.
Dictionary Films and Director/Editor Chris Hafner have been shooting a multiple-spot package for a national apparel and footwear brand in Indianapolis. Spots are expected to break later this year.
