EMPIRE, CHICAGO P.D. Premiere Tonight

Chicago is back in the spotlight as two of its flagship television series, EMPIRE and CHICAGO P.D., make their season premieres tonight.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: The Lyon family is back together when EMPIRE Season Four premieres Wednesday September 27th at 7 pm Central on FOX. Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker is a new addition this season, the latest Hollywood heavyweight to join Season Four, alongside Demi Moore, who has a large recurring role in the upcoming season and made her first appearance in the Season 3 finale. STATE OF CHANGE: NBC's steady ratings winner CHICAGO P.D. kicks off Season Five with one of the more controversial episodes in its history. The district is in a state of change - Lindsay (played by Sophia Bush, who exited the show earlier this year) has moved to New York - and the CPD is under scrutiny about the corrupt nature of its institution. Under the watchful eye of the city, the team attempts to bust a gun deal that quickly turns dicey when innocent civilians and children get involved. A misfire gets District 21 caught up in the biggest controversy of their lives.
