Leo Burnett Partners With Hootenanny For Esurance

In their latest collaboration for Esurance, Leo Burnett Chicago and Hootenanny Editor Nikki Vapensky have joined forces to create two new spots for the popular car insurance company.
“Tears” highlights a convenient new Photo Claims feature within the app, and “The Talk” features a user-friendly GPS system for tracking roadside assistance. The spots ran nationally as both :30s and :15s, and “Tears” is still airing.
“I really enjoyed working on this project because the creative is fun, and Benji captured some great performances," said Vapensky. "We laughed quite a bit through the process."
From the agency, Brian Shembeda and Jeff Candido were the Creative Directors. Agency credits also include Kevin Goff (ACD/Copywriter), Rene Delgado (ACD/Art Director), Gretchen Zachan (Copywriter), Lauren Wetula (Art Director), and Tara Wert (Producer). Another Country handled sound design and mix, and color correction was done at Nolo Digital Film. Benji Weinstein was the director.
